Meowdoku Level 1099 Walkthrough
AdvancedMeowdoku Level 1099 is a region-based logic puzzle. The board is split into colored regions, and you have to place exactly one cat in each region — while no two cats share a row or a column, and no two cats touch each other, not even diagonally. Level 1099 sits in the Advanced tier, which means crowded boards where regions bend around each other and most of the work is marking Xs rather than placing cats. Every move is a deduction rather than a guess: you get three hearts, so a board you cannot justify is a board you should not tap.

Solved board

The finished board from the walkthrough above — every region holds one cat, and no two cats share a row, a column or a diagonal.
How to solve a advanced Meowdoku board – Meowdoku Tips
Count two or three lines together
Look at a small set of rows and ask how many regions they must host. If three rows can only be fed by three regions, those regions are used up — and every other square in them can be cleared.
Work from the most constrained region
Rather than scanning the whole board, pick the region with the fewest open squares. A region down to two candidates usually resolves the row or column it sits in as well.
Keep the X layer honest
Most stalled runs on hard boards are a bad X, not a missing insight. Before hunting for a new deduction, re-check that every X on the board is actually forced by a cat you have placed.
